The City may require the applicant to buy the mobilehome at 100% of its in-place value. Applies: Only mobilehome park closures; eligible owners whose home cannot move to a comparable park within 50 miles or another park they choose. § 8.17.140 · code text For any eligible mobilehome owner whose home cannot be relocated to a comparable park within 50 miles or another park chosen by the mobilehome owner, the City may require the applicant to purchase the mobilehome at 100% of its in-place value.
Exemptions	The applicant may ask for a full or partial exemption from relocation assistance because of unreasonable financial hardship. Applies: Only mobilehome park closures. The request is filed with the relocation impact report, and the applicant must notify residents. § 8.17.250 · code text If the applicant believes that providing the required relocation assistance would impose an unreasonable financial hardship, the applicant may request total or partial exemption from relocation assistance obligations in accordance with this section.
When relocation is owed	A mobilehome park closure, either voluntary or due to reduced occupancy. § 8.17.140 · code text Relocation assistance shall be determined based on the procedures in this chapter whether by voluntary closure or closure due to reduced occupancy. Owners and residents qualify unless they gave lease-ending notice before the earliest of: development application, relocation impact report, reduced-occupancy finding.
