Corner visibility	Fences, walls and hedges can be no more than 3 feet tall. Applies: All residential zones: street side of a reversed corner lot, between the street and the setback line of the key lot behind it. § 18.12.070 · code text In all residential zones no fence, wall or hedge located along the street side of a reversed corner lot between the street and the established setback line on the key lot, to the rear, shall exceed a height of three feet. Up to 6 feet tall, rising in step with the difference in ground level. Applies: Fences, walls or hedges on a lower reversed corner lot when the key lot behind it is on higher ground. § 18.12.070 · code text Exception: Where the key lot to the rear is located at a higher elevation than the reversed corner lot, such fence, wall or hedge on the lower reversed corner lot may be increased in height in equal proportion to the increase in elevation of the key lot to the rear, but shall in no case exceed a height of six feet.
Front yard height	Fences, walls and hedges can be no more than 3 feet tall. Applies: In the required front yard in all residential zones. § 18.12.070 · code text In all residential zones no fence, wall or hedge located in the required front yard shall exceed a height of three feet.
Side and rear yard height	Fences, walls and hedges can be no more than 6 feet tall. Applies: In rear or side yards in all residential zones. § 18.12.070 · code text In all residential zones no fence, wall or hedge located in the rear or side yards shall exceed a height limit of six feet. An 8-foot block wall is allowed. Applies: Rear or side yard next to a highway of at least 4 lanes; wall within 10 feet of that line, with no driveway exit there. § 18.12.070 · code text Where the rear or side yard directly abuts a minimum of a four-lane highway, an eight-foot-high block wall may be constructed along or within ten feet of the rear or side property line.
