False alarms before a fee
  • 3 or more false alarms in any 30-consecutive-day period are excessive and a public nuisance.

Alarm permit
  • A permit is required. Apply to the Chief of Police with the required fee.

    Applications for all permits required under this chapter shall be filed with the Chief of Police accompanied by the requisite fee.
When a permit can be revoked
  • Police Chief may suspend or revoke for 3+ false alarms in 30 days, or 6+ in 90 days.
