Maintenance and empty pools
  • A pool must stay fully enclosed by a fence or structure; a pool without full enclosure is a public nuisance.

    The construction, maintenance, or continued existence of a swimming pool without its complete enclosure by a fence or structure, as specific in this Section constitutes a public nuisance consistent with Chapter 17.628 (Property Nuisances).
Setback from property lines
  • At least 5 feet.
    Applies: Pools and their mechanical equipment, from side and rear property lines; not allowed in the front setback.

    Swimming pools and any related mechanical equipment shall be set back a minimum of five feet from side and rear property lines, and shall not be located within a front setback.
