  • Unobstructed back-up area at least 25 feet long.
    Applies: Covered, off-street parking space back-up area.

    A covered, off-street parking space shall have an unobstructed back-up area of not less than twenty-five feet in length.
  • The back-up area may be 23 feet long.
    Applies: Covered off-street space with landscape or a nonpublic sidewalk at least 6 feet wide behind the back-up area.

    Where there is landscape or a nonpublic sidewalk with a minimum width of six feet located contiguously to the rear of the back-up area, the required back-up area may be reduced by two feet.
