§ 14.190.010. Districts designated. ¶
The several classes of zoning districts established in this title and into which the city is or may be divided are designated as follows:
A-G General Agricultural District
A-C Agricultural Commercial District
A-M Agricultural Industrial District
R-1 Single-Family Residential District
R-2 Medium Density Residential District
R-3 High Density Residential District
R-MU Residential Mixed-Use District
D-MU Downtown (B Street) Mixed-Use District
C-G General Commercial District
C-O Office Commercial District
M-1 Light Industrial District
M-2 General Industrial District
O-S Open Space District
P-Q Public/Quasi-Public District
PD Planned Development District (Formerly 14.95.010; Ord. 320 § 1, 1999; Ord. 409 § 3, 2017)
§ 14.190.020. Planned development district. ¶
In addition to the zoning districts established in BMC § 14.190.010 , a PD planned development district, as established in Chapter 14.390 BMC (PD Planned Development District), may be applied in conjunction with underlying zoning established herein to modify the basic development requirements in such underlying zoning district.

§ 14.190.030. Zoning map. ¶
(1) The official zoning map of the city, which delineates the zoning and combining districts described in this chapter, is declared a part of this title and shall constitute the official description of the location of each district in the city.
(2) The boundaries of the districts shown on the zoning map, or amendments thereto, are adopted. All the regulations of this chapter with respect to the districts delineated thereon, together with all references and information shown thereon, are established and declared to be in effect upon all lands included within the boundaries of the districts delineated upon the zoning map.
(3) The zoning map, for convenience, may be divided into units, and each such unit may be separately used for purposes of amending the district map. Such map, and each such unit, and the notations, references, and other information shown thereon, shall be as much a part of this chapter as if the information set forth on the map or unit were all fully described in this chapter.

§ 14.190.040. Boundary interpretation. ¶
Where the boundaries of any zoning district shown on the adopted city zoning map are uncertain, the city planner shall interpret the location of the boundary as described within BMC § 14.10.050(5) . (Formerly 14.95.040; Ord. 320 § 1, 1999; Ord. 409 § 3, 2017)
§ 14.190.050. Prezoning. ¶
When initiated by lawful petition, by recommendation of the planning commission or by action of the city council, an area outside the city boundary but within the planning area may be prezoned under the provisions and regulations of this title. Such prezoned land will not be subject to the legal force and effect of this title until such time as the prezoned area is annexed to the city as provided by law. Any and all prezoned areas shall be recorded on the zoning map. The procedures for initiation, hearings and actions shall be as provided for rezoning in Chapter 14.40 BMC.
