1.30.010 Authority¶

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 196 of the Code of Civil Procedure and Section 1143 of the Penal Code, as amended by Chapter 1640 of 1984 Statutes, the compensation of jurors in civil and criminal cases in the superior and justice court shall be as established by the board of supervisors by ordinance.

1.30.020 Amount Of Compensation¶

Effective September 24, 1987, the compensation payable to jurors serving in civil and criminal cases in the superior and justice courts of the county shall be five dollars per day.
