Chapter 16.49 — P-F PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT

§ 16.49.010. Purpose. ¶
The purpose and intent of this district is to accommodate governmental, public utility, and educational facilities.

§ 16.49.020. Permitted uses. ¶
The following uses are permitted in the P-F district:
(1) All public facilities used and operated for government purposes by the city of Menlo Park, the county of San Mateo, the state of California, and the government of the United States;
(2) All public facilities, as to which the Menlo Park Zoning Ordinance has been made inapplicable pursuant to Government Code Section 53094, by any public school district.

§ 16.49.030. Conditional uses. ¶
The following uses may be allowed subject to obtaining a use permit:
(1) All uses of existing facilities and/or property by entities other than the above-mentioned governmental agencies and school districts, or said entities for nongovernmental purposes;
(2) All facilities of any public utility.

§ 16.49.040. Development regulations. ¶
There are no development regulations in the P-F zoning district, except as follows:
(1) The floor area ratio shall not exceed thirty percent (30%), except that sixty percent (60%) may be allowed with use permit approval on sites with a lot area of two (2) acres or less, inclusive of contiguous parcels in the P-F zoning district; and
(2) In the case of conditional uses, additional regulations may be required by the planning commission.
