8.32.010 - Purpose.¶

In order to serve the public health, safety and welfare, the declared purpose of this chapter is to promote a policy of not smoking by any means such as tobacco use, or any weed or plant, in all areas of city-owned buildings or, city-owned vehicles, unless exempted, and recreational areas, places of employment, outdoor dining and drinking areas, service areas, public event areas, and other publicly accessible outdoor spaces within the city.
