1.04.010 ADOPTION OF SEAL.¶

There is adopted a new seal for the city which shall contain the words “City of Santa Cruz, California,” the number “1866,” and a picture containing a representation of mountains, mission, wharf, redwood tree, beach, ocean, sailboats and bathers, as appears from the pictorial representation and words thereof in the following diagram:[Figure]
