Rent Supplement Rent Formula:

The rent a family will pay is the higher of the following amounts:

  • 30% of the family’s monthly adjusted income

  • 30% of Gross Rent.

If this is a move-in or initial certification, the family is only eligible if their total tenant payment is less than 90% of Gross Rent.
