Vallejo RR zoning: height, setbacks and lot size

RR (Rural Residential) is a zoning district in Vallejo. Every value below was read from the Vallejo Municipal Code and links to its section (read October 2026). The code sets other values for particular lots, buildings or locations in RR:

• Minimum front setback: 60 ft — Yards abutting streets for structures to contain animals § 16.202.02
• Minimum side setback: 10 ft — One interior side yard on interior lots; the other is five feet plus two feet for each foot of building height over twenty-four feet § 16.202.02
• Minimum side setback: 5 ft — Lot shown on a tentative map approved prior to February 24, 1970; upon director approval § 16.202.02
• Minimum lot size: 5 acres — In the RR-5 subzone § 16.202.02
• Minimum lot size: 10 acres — In the RR-10 subzone § 16.202.02
• Minimum lot size: 15 acres — In the RR-15 subzone § 16.202.02

We did not find a general stories, rear setback, lot coverage, FAR limit for RR in the zoning tables we read. The code may still set one elsewhere — check the Vallejo Municipal Code.
