§ 9-3.501. Purpose (RC). ¶
The purpose of the Rail Corridor classification is to allow and facilitate the envisioned types of development within the Rail Trail Corridor allowing a mix of development, a variety of housing types and form based development standards. This article is to be utilized along with the Rail Trail Corridor Regulating Plan.

§ 9-3.502. Uses permitted (R-C). ¶
The following uses shall be permitted in the Rail Corridor District:
(a) Mixed use development;
(b) Commercial;
(c) Live-work facilities;
(d) Stacked flats;
(e) Courtyard flats;
(f) Townhouses;
(g) Public/civic buildings and public spaces;
(h) Cottage houses;
(i) Accessory buildings;
(j) Small family day care homes and large family day care homes;
(k) Supportive housing;
(l) Transitional housing; and
(m) Employee housing that complies with California Health and Safety Code Sections 17008 and 17021.5 and other applicable provisions of the Employee Housing Act – limited to employee housing of six or fewer employees.

§ 9-3.503. Uses subject to securing use permits (R-C). ¶
Off-sale and on-sale alcoholic beverages, either separately or in conjunction with a use permitted in the district.

§ 9-3.504. Height limits (R-C). ¶
Buildings shall have maximum height limits as established per the Rail Trail Corridor Regulating Plan.

§ 9-3.505. Parking standards (R-C). ¶

§ 9-3.507. Lot sizes and setback standards (R-C). ¶
Lot sizes and setback standards shall be those as established per the Rail Trail Corridor Regulating Plan.

§ 9-3.508. Revisions and amendments (R-C). ¶
The Regulating Code may be as amended by the City Council after a recommendation by the Planning Commission whenever the public necessity, convenience or general welfare requires such amendment.
