Needles Municipal Code § 2-1 Time And Place Of City Council Meetings

A resolution of the city council shall be used as the enabling instrument for changes in meeting day, time and/or place of the city council, city boards and commissions. Any changes in time, day and/or place, as set by resolution, shall be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in the Needles area. (Ord. No. 301-AC)

2-1a Repealed By Ord No 425-AC

1. It is found and declared, pursuant to Section 33101 of California Health and Safety Code, that there is a need for the redevelopment agency created by Section 33100 of said law to function in the city. The agency is authorized to transact business and exercise its powers under the community redevelopment law and shall be known as the “Needles Redevelopment Agency.”
2. Pursuant to Section 33200 of the California Health and Safety Code, the city council does declare itself to be the agency, and all the rights, powers, duties, privileges and immunities, vested by law in a redevelopment agency, shall be vested in the city council except as otherwise provided by law.
