Chapter 17.38 — P-L PARK LAND DISTRICT:

The regulations for this district are designed to provide open space as a buffer between general manufacturing industry and adjoining residential districts; riding and hiking trails along the Sacramento River; screen planting along highways; playgrounds and playing fields. (Prior code Appendix B § 415(A))

Uses permitted are as follows:

• A. Landscaping and buffer or screen;

• B. Riding and hiking trails.

Uses permitted, provided the conditions for a use permit as set forth in Section 17.66.070 are fulfilled:

• A. Playgrounds and playing fields with parking areas;

• B. Swimming pools;

• C. Accessory uses and buildings clearly appurtenant to any permitted use;

• D. Public and semi-public buildings, including but not limited to, fire stations, schools, churches, libraries, hospitals, community and civic centers.

Site and architectural approval is required for all new structures and exterior improvements to existing structures in the P-L district.
