DEPARTMENT OF RETIREMENT SERVICES

Sections:

2.04.3100 Establishment.

The department of retirement services is hereby established. It shall include the division of federated retirement services and the division of police and fire retirement services. (Ord. 26034)

2.04.3110 Department head.

The director of retirement services shall be the head of the department of retirement services. (Ord. 26034)

2.04.3120 Functions, powers and duties.

In addition to those general functions, powers and duties given to the department head by this chapter and other provisions of this Code, the director shall:

  • A. Provide staff services to the board of administration for the federated city employees' retirement system as required for the board to fulfill its duty to administer the retirement system and the federated city employees' retirement fund.

  • B. Provide staff services to the board of administration for the police and fire department retirement plan as required for the board to fulfill its duty to administer the plan and the police and fire department retirement fund.

    • C. Maintain the records of the federated city employees' retirement system and the records of the police and fire department retirement plan.

    • D. Perform other duties and responsibilities with respect to the federated city employees' retirement system and the police and fire department retirement plan as may be, from time to time, authorized or requested.
