§ 18.16.010. Zoning map and zoning district boundaries.

The "ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GUADALUPE" is hereby amended to ensure consistency with the 2042 Guadalupe General Plan, as described in Exhibit 1 – Proposed Zoning Designations. (Ord. 189 Art. 2 §1, 1980; Ord. 2023-509 §11)

§ 18.16.020. Zoning district use restrictions.

This title lists specific uses of land and buildings which may be allowed within each zoning district, as a permitted use, or as a use permitted subject to obtaining a conditional use permit. Other uses of land are not allowed within the designated districts. Without limitation of the foregoing, the following use shall not be allowed in any zone, and no conditional use permit shall issue permitting such use: medical marijuana dispensary.

§ 18.16.030. Regulations applicable to zoning districts.

This title sets forth general regulations which shall apply to all zoning districts within the city. (Ord. 189 Art. 2 §3, 1980)

§ 18.16.040. Newly annexed territory.

Whenever any territory is annexed to the City, and such territory has not been prezoned pursuant to Chapter 18.76 of this title, such territory shall be zoned as follows:

  • A. Any parcels that are smaller than 10,000 square feet in area and abut parcels previously in the City shall have the same zone as such parcel previously in the city;

  • B. All other parcels shall be zoned to open space district, as provided in Chapter 18.48 of this title. (Ord. 189 Art. 2 §4, 1980; Ord. 210, 1982)
