12.4.3 Architect Administering the Construction Contract

A. The Architect administering the construction contract is responsible for reporting in writing the results of periodic visits to the construction site. The Architect's log should provide information regarding assessment of the progress of the work and a record of the actions taken to ensure that the work is being accomplished in the best interests of all the parties.

B. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Document G711, Architect's Field Report, may be used for the log. A log of each visit should show, at a minimum, the following:
