A. Properties must have 5 or more residential units with individual full kitchens and baths for each unit. (Section 231 requires at least 8 units.) Group Homes are not eligible for FHA multifamily mortgage insurance. Single Room Occupancy (SRO) properties will be considered only if they have existing Project based Section 8 contracts in place.
