19.4.7.2 Title and Survey Review Standards

A. HUD’s currently approved form of title insurance policy is the American Land Title Association (ALTA) 2006 Loan Policy of Title Insurance – Lender’s Policy, or state approved equivalent (Title Policy).

B. HUD may approve revised versions of the ALTA 2006 title policy or related forms as ALTA releases new versions. When approved, HUD will post the approval to HUD’s external website.
