A. In limited circumstances, HUD will allow use of a fee-joinder to establish Borrower’s interest in the requisite fee or leasehold. OGC’s Multifamily Mortgage Division maintains a template fee-joinder for use in these transactions; Lender’s Counsel should contact the HUD Closing Attorney to obtain the most current version before drafting the Security Instrument.
