13.2.1.1 Audit Fee Not Applicable

A. In cases that are exempt from cost certification, a Cost Certification Audit Fee (Section G line 66, on form HUD-92264) is not applicable. The Borrower and the General Contractor may certify to their actual costs. Should they decide to cost certify per HUD’s methodology, the audit cost is mortgageable.

B . The Borrower and the General Contractor have the option to cost certify according to the guidance in Section 13.4 through Section 13.17.
