9.4.9 Waivers

A. If a Regional Office intends to waive any of the requirements in this Section 9.4 that are not regulatory in nature, the advice of the Departmental and/or Housing Environmental Officer, or the applicable REO/FEO in whose district the project is located, should be obtained before the waiver is granted to ensure that such waiver is in compliance with the environmental requirements of 24 CFR 50.3(i).
