19.6.5.2 Firm Commitment

A. HUD must issue a Firm Commitment with IUC-specific conditions prior to the start of construction. The Firm Commitment will remain valid and outstanding until Final Endorsement of the permanent mortgage loan. There is no Initial Closing. Required documents for IUC closings are listed in Chapter 12, Section 12.16.C.
