HUD Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide, HUD Handbook 4430.G (2020 ed., rev. Mar. 19, 2021) · 2026 edition · updated 2026-10-05 · United States

A. Many building components are quite durable and, based on the date installed, may be expected to remain in place without replacement in entirety well past the end of the Estimate Period. The CNA e-Tool will schedule costs of repair or replacement of components only when the time for such capital expense falls within the Estimate Period. Therefore, it is up to the discretion of the Needs Assessors to list durable components in the e-Tool when it is beneficial to describe the construction and condition of the property.
