A.8.3.7 Process for Prior Approval

A. The lender’s request for prior approval should provide all the exhibits and analyses required for active principals as described in 8.3 with the exception Previous Participation Certification (APPS/ form HUD2530) which must be provided with each individual insured application. Except in cases where a Sponsor or their affiliate(s) propose to act as General Contractor, credit review for principals who are not Sponsors (i.e., General Contractors, property managers) should be completed with individual applications.
